Swift Blog - Beta Edition

There are many established blog platforms out there, and most of these have been around for several years and evolved gradually over time. This blogging platform, Swift Blog, is brand new, birthed in November 2016. Swift Blog is built on an emerging technology area called Server Side Swift, using the Perfect Toolkit.

Dedicated to high performance, resource efficient content delivery, with core SEO functions, simple management, and mobile editable content management, this blog platform in still in early beta stages. Those curious about getting involved can take a look at Swift Blog on GitHub.

Swift is the Apple Development language, launched in 2014 for developing App on iOS devices. Swift was open-sourced in December 2015, and the possibility of running Swift on the server side for web development was quickly implemented by Perfectly Soft, amongst others. There is a growing body of knowledge and examples for working with Server Side Swift, and this Perfect Blogger is part of that growth.

It can take time finding the right way to explain a new concept to people, so I have developed an affinity for Analogies - finding the context that is familar to a person, the presenting the new concept using that framework. In my day job I am an account manager for a digital marketing company in Newmarket, in the northern part of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
